Ta2reekh

Departing Cairo..Arriving in Frankfurt..that was the easy part of it. The actual journy started at Frankfurt, to find myself lost with a "Rail&Fly" ticket that was booked by Egyptair just as an involuntary connection as my real flight was supposed to be to Duesseldorf. In Frankfurt airport, I knew that the ticket was just booked for an open destination, so I just have to print another paper, and that's it to have all possible connections leading to Aachen...my destiny...

There, in Koeln, from where I should have found easily a direct train (bahn) to Aachen, I was informed that Aachen bahns are cancelled for today as there was a problem with the railway !!!

While asking at the information office, a young lady heard me mentioning the word Aachen, she shared the conversation I had with the information girl who appeared to have a very poor English. After they had a long chat in deutsch, she asked me if I'd like to go with her as she knew a way to reach Aachen. "Yeas..." was  what I said...

The lady who I knew later to be named "Ezabel", got herself a cup of coffee, then our bahn showed up, we got into it, all that and I'm having a very heavy baggage composed of three heavy bags. Then, the train arrived in a station called "Ehrenfeld". Ehrenfeld was just a very poor station, located in a very poor area, where you can find the graffiti paintings occupying the whole walls. We heard an announcment in German, that appeared to be about a delay of the train of Aachen for 20 minutes again !! Just a simple conversation took place about my purpose of being in Germany, Egypt, the wheather, her work in Koeln and accomodation in Aachen...

While waiting for those 20 minutes, a guy approached us asking about his train, he seemed to have a mental problem as his words were pronounced very difficultly, Ezabel told him about which train he should use. Then, Aachen's train arrived, Ezabel showed me a suitable seat as I had those bags, then she sat at another one to work on some papers she had. Arriving in Aachen 40 minutes later, I thanked her...tschus...and that's it...

It might seem as a silly story, but it meant for me that there, was God...just showing me a sign, that He's there, as always...Wherever I go...His care is greater than to be explained...

It might seem strange that I've just been in Germany for 3 days, and I can tell two or three of God's stories with me, HE LOVES & CARES...
