I'have just watched "The Kite Runner", a movie based on a book of the same title, written by Khalid Husseini. Husseini, an Afghani writer describes how things have changed in Afghanistan throughout 30 years of occupation, wars and terrorism, how those massive changes were reflected over two freinds, those young kite runners. Having watched the movie, also having read Husseini's second masterpiece (A Thausand Splendid Suns), I believe I have no such "true" thing to tell about my life, my community or my country...It's just lack of such "depth".
